This year’s Ice Age 50 training runs will be held on Sat. April 20 and Sat. April 27 at the Nordic trailhead in the Southern Unit of the Kettle Moraine Forest (the Ice Age Start/Finish area). Both runs will begin at 7:30 a.m.
We’ll cover the entire 50-mile course over those two days — 35 miles on April 20th (the south end) and 19 miles on April 27th. There will be one aid station with water and Heed.
The course will be marked by Tom Bunk and Craig Swartwout, but these are loosely organized runs. Just sign in and run. You don’t have to cover the entire distance — and everyone is welcome, whether or not they are registered for Ice Age. If you have any questions, contact the RD at firstname.lastname@example.org.
More detailed information will be emailed to all registered runners as we get closer to the training runs.
