Volunteers

Volunteering is a great introduction to the sport of ultrarunning — and we need your help!  For ultrarunners, volunteers can often make the difference between success and failure and most are very appreciative of your assistance on race day.  Ice Age Trail 50 volunteers receive a free t-shirt and are invited to enjoy a barbecue dinner in the finish area after their shift.  There are many different volunteer opportunities available:  As Aid Station Workers, Registration Workers at the prerace packet pick-up, Sentries at road crossings or helping out on a supply truck, to name just a few.  We have positions to fill on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11.  If you have a few hours or an entire day to help, we’ll find you a job!To volunteer, please follow the link below.  When you land on the registration page, scroll down to the bottom.  Click on “Register”…then tell us a few things about yourself.  To finalize the process, please click on the “SUBMIT” button when prompted to do so.  IAT50’s Volunteer Coordinator, Angela Barbera, will be in touch with you to confirm your availability and preferences and to answer any questions you may have.  You can also reach her at abarbera9@aol.com.Thank you!
