Welcome to the 34th annual running of the Ice Age Trail 50!

50k Mile Run – 8:15 a.m.
Half Marathon – 9:00 a.m.
All races will start on the Nordic Trail located in the Nordic Trail parking lot, roughly 1.5 miles north of La Grange, Wisconsin on Hwy. H.

Friday, May 8th: 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Runners can pick up their packet Friday night at Randy’s Restaurant, 841 E. Milwaukee Street, Whitewater, Wisconsin. If you prepaid for the dinner, you will receive a ticket in your race packet. You can also order off the menu that night.
Saturday, May 9th: 5:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Runners can pick up their packet Saturday morning at the start/finish area in the Nordic Trail parking lot located on Hwy H 1 ½ miles north of LaGrange, WI, which is on the corner of Hwy 12 and Hwy H.
A Wisconsin State Park parking pass is required to park in the starting area. All registered runners will receive a parking pass, which is good for race day only. You will receive this sticker on race day as you enter the park. Make sure that you place sticker on the inside of the lower front driver windshield. In the event that no parking spaces are available in the Nordic lot when you arrive, there is overflow parking across Hwy H in the John Muir lot.
Cutoff and Course Closing Times
For an official finish, runners in the 50-mile race will have to complete the course in 12 hours (6:00 pm). There is a 9:45 cutoff for the 50k (6:00 pm). The Half Marathon course will close four hours after the start (1:30 pm).
Aid Station cut-off times are listed on the course map and on the Ice Age website.
Runners in all three races will receive timing chips, but official results will be based on GUN TIMES. No one crossing the 50 Mile finish line after the 12:00:00 cut-off as given by the finish line clock will be officially scored.
Post Race BBQ Dinner
The Post Race BBQ Dinner at the finish line will begin serving around 12:15 p.m. The BBQ dinner catered by Glenn’s Market of Watertown, including beer and soda are free to all Ice Age Trail 50 runners and volunteers and to all that have pre-paid for additional BBQ dinners for their family members.
You must check in at the BBQ ticket table and get a BBQ ticket to go through the buffet line.
The Age Group Awards will be given out based on the awards breakdown listing which will be posted for review at packet pickup.
• There will be two award ceremonies for the 50 mile race — an early presentation at 3:00 and the final ceremony at 6:00 p.m.
• All 50 Mile finishers under 12 hours will receive a custom-made 2014 Ice Age buckle.
• The 50K awards are scheduled to be presented at 3:00 p.m.
• All finishers of the 50K run will receive a key chain with the 2014 Ice Age logo.
• The Half Marathon awards will be presented at 1:30 p.m.
• All finishers of the Half Marathon run will receive a key chain with the 2014 Ice Age logo.
